The Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH), a subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), in collaboration with IIMA Ventures, has launched Swanari TechSprint 3.0, a unique initiative to nurture women-centric fintech startups in India.
The program, unveiled on Thursday, aims to provide fintech innovators with a platform to design, develop, and scale solutions tailored to the financial needs of women. It offers strategic resources, mentorship, grants, and funding opportunities to startups creating gender-inclusive financial products.
Startups with a proven Minimum Viable Product (MVP) or those in the pre-seed to pre-Series A funding stage are encouraged to apply. The initiative also welcomes revenue-generating startups with demonstrated traction.
“Financial inclusion is a fundamental pillar of India’s growth story. Swanari TechSprint serves as a platform to support innovators committed to addressing the unique financial needs of women. By fostering innovation, we aim to amplify solutions that enhance women’s financial inclusion and drive economic empowerment,” said Aakarsh Naidu, Head of Fintech & Startups at RBIH.
