Rezolv

AI-powered lending technology company Rezolv has raised $12.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Norwest, taking its total capital raised to $16 million. The round also saw participation from Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India and existing investor 3one4 Capital.

Founded in 2024 by Karan Mehta and Sonali Jindal, former founders of digital lending platform Kissht, Rezolv is building an AI-native technology platform for banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs). Its solutions are designed to automate and improve lending workflows spanning customer engagement, underwriting, risk, collections and recoveries.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its AI capabilities across the lending lifecycle and strengthen its technology platform. Rezolv initially focused on debt resolution and collections but is now expanding towards a broader AI-powered operating system for lenders.

Rezolv currently works with more than 22 banks and NBFCs and its AI solutions facilitate approximately 6.5 million minutes of borrower conversations every month across more than 12 million loan accounts. Its client base includes institutions such as AU Small Finance Bank, ICICI Bank, Poonawalla Fincorp, Five-Star Business Finance and Muthoot Capital.

The company’s AI platform includes capabilities such as bounce prediction, self-cure prediction, payment-likelihood assessment, conversation intelligence and multilingual voice bots. Its Strategy Builder has reportedly delivered a 35% improvement in bounce and resolution rates.
