Salesforce, a cloud-based software company headquartered in San Francisco, has named Adam Blitzer as its new CEO of Marketing Cloud.
Marketing Cloud is Salesforce’s suite of digital marketing tools developed around the company’s acquisition of ExactTarget in 2013. That the acquisition brought Blitzer to Salesforce and he co-founded marketing automation start-up Pardot, which was bought by ExactTarget the year before the Salesforce deal.
He joined Pardot as VP & GM in 2013. Blitzer holds over 12 years of experience. He holds a Bachelors degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.
He has worked with FullStory, TalkIQ Sr. Email Marketing Consultant, InterContinental Hotels Group, Moxie Interactive and Letslink, Inc.
