India’s largest public sector lender the State Bank of India (SBI) has issued precautionary measures prior to using ATM machines.
In a post on social media, the state-owned lender has appealed people to follow the steps mentioned in the creative before entering touching an ATM.
The bank has asked people to avoid touching the areas around the ATM. It has also suggested the users to not enter the ATM if it is already in use.
Stay sanitised and cover your face with the elbow while sneezing and avoid disposing used tissue and masks inside the ATM lobby, says the bank.
It also appealed to switch to YoNo, the digital banking platform of the bank to remain safe at home and complete transactions without going out.
