Schneider Electric Infra elevates Mayank Holani to CFO position

Electricity power manufacturer and equipment distributor, Schneider Electric Infrastructure has elevated its General Manager – Finance Business Partner, Service Business, Mayank Holani to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position as per a filing with the stock exchanges.

“Under a comprehensive succession planning programme for the position of Chief Financial Officer, Mayank Holani, is appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the company with effect from September 9, 2020 in place of Arnab Roy who is currently the Chief Financial Officer of the Company,” said the company filing.

Roy will be shifting on to position within the company. The board has cleared an increase in borrowing limits of the company from existing Rs 450 crore to Rs 550 crores, subject to final go ahead of the shareholders by postal ballot, it informed.

Holani holds more than two decades of experience in areas of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, controlling, corporate reporting, management information system (MIS), indirect taxation, internal audit and consolidation of accounts.Holani became a part of the company as Senior Manager – Finance in 2011. He later shifted to take the responsibility as Associate General Manager – Finance and General Manager – Finance Business Partner, Service Business for the company, prior being promoted to the CFO position.

Prior to joining this, Holani had completed four year stint worked in Cairn India Limited, an Indian oil and gas exploration and production company as Manager – Management Accounting and Assistant Manager – Finance. He has also held leaderships in Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. and Ravi Holani & Co. where he was Senior Officer – Finance, Senior Audit Officer and Consultant respectively.

He is a qualified finance professional from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and has completed B.Com and M.Com from Jiwaji University.
