Sodexo appoints Anish Sarkar as its new CEO

sodexoSodexo BRS India has appointed Anish Sarkar as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). At Sodexo, Sarkar would be taking over the position from Stephane Michelin, who is shifting to Sodexo’s headquarters in Paris to handle Global Strategic Projects.

Anish is joining Sodexo after his stint at Mercer India. At Mercer, he was responsible for driving strong revenue growth and portfolio expansion, including strategic acquisitions. Prior to joining Mercer, he was associated with the Capgemini group for around 16 years and handling several roles panning across management consulting and technology transformation, including India consulting leader between 2011-14 and as India sales head prior to that.

 He holds a B. Tech degree from IIT Kharagpur, and an MBA degree from IIM Calcutta.
