IIFL Home Loans has appointed Sumit Chadha as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to accelerate its digital transformation and technology-led growth strategy. Chadha brings more than two decades of experience across lending, housing finance, enterprise technology, and digital innovation.
His appointment highlights the growing importance of technology leadership in the financial services sector, particularly in housing finance where customer experience, scalability, operational efficiency, and digital infrastructure are becoming deeply interconnected.
Before joining IIFL Home Loans, Chadha served as Chief Information Officer at India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation for nearly five years. During his tenure, he led multiple technology modernisation initiatives, focusing on infrastructure transformation, digital strategy, and operational technology enhancement within the housing finance ecosystem.
Over the years, he has developed strong expertise in aligning technology capabilities with business objectives. His leadership has consistently focused on building scalable systems, streamlining operational frameworks, and driving long-term digital growth across financial institutions.
Prior to IMGC, Chadha spent over nine years at PNB Housing Finance Limited, where he held senior leadership positions including Head of Information Technology and DGM – IT Business Applications. In these roles, he worked extensively on enterprise technology integration, application modernisation, and strengthening digital process frameworks across the organisation.
Earlier in his career, he was associated with Nucleus Software, managing the FinnOne Suite, one of the widely used lending technology platforms in the banking and financial services sector. He also worked at ICICI Bank as Regional Credit Manager, gaining hands-on experience in banking operations and credit management.
