Suryoday Small Finance Bank will be discontinuing its ATM banking services from October 1, 2021 as it is planning to boost its digital banking initiation program. However, Maharashtra-based bank’s ATM and debit card holders will be able to access their cards at other bank ATMs.
Besides, other services such as PIN generation, fund transfer, mini statement, balance enquiry etc will only be available through internet banking and mobile banking.
According to the Reserve Bank of India guidelines issued in November, Small finance banks will be allowed to provide basic banking services, accepting deposits and lending to unserved and under-served sections including small business units, small and marginal farmers, micro and small industries, and entities in the unorganised sector.
