Standard Chartered Bank India has named Kusal Roy as its new Head of Retail Banking with effect from 5 May 2020.
Kusal holds over 25 years of wide experience around sectors namely retail banking, the payments industry, and NBFC sector. Before joining Standard Chartered, he was appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Tata Capital Financial Services Ltd. In his career, he held several leadership roles in ICICI Bank, Barclays Bank, and Citibank India.
As a part of his new appointment, Kusal will report to Zarin Daruwala, India, CEO, and Sebastian Arcuri, Regional Head, Retail Banking, ASEAN & South Asia.

Kusal has completed his BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, and post-graduation from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
