Public sector lender UCO Bank appointed Atul Kumar Goel as it as Managing Director and CEO.
Prior to joining UCO Bank, Goel was associated with Union Bank of India as its Executive Director. At UCO, he takes over RK Takkar who has completed his three-year term on November 1, 2018.
He is a Bachelor degree holder in Commerce and considered to be one of the youngest and dynamic executives in the Indian banking industry, said the bank, in its official communiqué.
His carrier began in 1992 as a Chartered Accountant in Allahabad Bank. He was associated with several segments including corporate credit, foreign exchange, and treasury, said the bank.
