Union Budget 2020, the second budget tabled by the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaram in Parliament witnessed a variety of announcements including the Rs 8000 crore mission on Quantum Computing, the policy for private sector to build data centre parks and the abolition of the Dividend Distribution Tax. The Minister also used the famous jargon ‘Data is the new Oil’ during her speech indicating a bright future for data-related technologies and services in the country.
