Kotak rolls out mobile banking app with no internet

APPAs part of its digital banking initiative, Kotak Mahindra Bank (KMB) has announced the launch of a mobile
solution that requires no Internet connectivity.

The app namely Kotak Bharat is currently available in Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil and Kannada.

“The app facilitates secure transaction as it allows transaction only through the customer’s registered mobile number,” KMB said in an official release.

 “The customer will get a confirmatory SMS on the registered mobile number, which is encrypted, hence cannot be tampered with.”

The app will enable customers to manage their savings and current accounts as well as credit cards.
