InCred Finance, the consumer and MSME lending arm of the InCred Group, has appointed Gaurav Maheshwari as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with the role effective December 16, 2024.
With an illustrious career spanning 27 years in financial leadership, Maheshwari has previously held pivotal roles at Standard Chartered Bank, including Cluster CFO for India and South Asia. His portfolio also includes senior positions at Altico Capital, Reuters India, and Coca-Cola India. A Chartered Accountant and alumnus of Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Maheshwari is highly regarded for his strategic expertise in financial management, governance, and capital optimization.
Commenting on the appointment, Bhupinder Singh, Founder and Group CEO of InCred, emphasized that Maheshwari’s deep financial expertise and leadership acumen make him a vital addition to the executive team. He expressed confidence in Maheshwari’s ability to drive business performance, enhance capital efficiency, and strengthen governance as the company scales its operations.
