According to reports by CNET, the service is only available in the U.S. and would be rolled out in India soon. In order to send or receive money, all you need is to add your debit card in your profile on the Messenger app, and you’re ready to go. Facebook will not levy any charges for availing the Messenger payment service you won’t incur any charges like commission and transaction fees. Notably, all other Facebook products are totally free. The payments are secured by PIN and “industry-leading security”.
