Bengaluru: Raise Financial Services, the parent company of investment platform Dhan, has launched a new investment app called Millions, aimed at Gen Z and first-time investors. The platform seeks to make investing more accessible by focusing on financial goals rather than traditional investment products and jargon.
Millions allows users to invest across a range of asset classes, including mutual funds, stocks, SIPs, and IPOs, while following a goal-based investment approach. The company believes that younger investors today are driven by aspirations that differ significantly from previous generations, with goals such as creating an additional income stream, building a side hustle, funding personal passions, or achieving financial independence.
Recognising these changing investment behaviours, Raise has introduced Millions as a separate platform designed to offer a more intuitive and relatable investing experience. The app aims to bridge the gap between financial products and the real-life objectives that motivate younger consumers to invest.
Commenting on the launch, Pravin Jadhav, Co-founder and CEO of Raise, said that the investment industry has traditionally built experiences around products, complex terminology, and technical processes, while most people naturally think in terms of outcomes and personal goals.
He noted that Millions combines goal-based investing with access to multiple investment products, making investing more relevant, approachable, and aligned with what modern investors care about. The platform seeks to reduce barriers to entry and encourage greater participation among individuals who may find traditional investment platforms intimidating.
The launch comes at a time when India is witnessing a surge in retail investor participation, driven by growing digital adoption, increasing financial awareness, and a rising interest in wealth creation among younger demographics. With Millions, Raise aims to tap into this evolving market by offering a simplified, technology-driven investment experience tailored to the aspirations of the next generation of investors.
