New Delhi: Google has introduced Ask Google Pay, a new Gemini-powered AI assistant integrated into the Google Pay app, enabling users to better understand their spending habits, receive personalised financial insights, and make smarter money management decisions through natural conversations.
The AI-powered assistant analyses users’ transaction history to provide tailored recommendations on spending patterns, identify potential savings opportunities, and answer finance-related questions through both text and voice interactions. Users can also seek explanations of financial concepts in a conversational format, making personal finance more accessible and easier to understand.
Designed to simplify everyday financial management, Ask Google Pay leverages Google’s Gemini AI capabilities to deliver contextual insights that help users monitor expenses, optimise budgets, and improve savings based on their individual financial behaviour.
Alongside the AI assistant, Google has also expanded its Flex credit programme by partnering with SBI Card, further strengthening its digital financial services ecosystem. The collaboration aims to offer users greater access to flexible credit solutions directly through the Google Pay platform.
With the launch of Ask Google Pay, Google continues to deepen the integration of generative AI into consumer financial services, combining intelligent insights with everyday payments to create a more personalised and seamless digital finance experience.
