Paisabazaar, the consumer credit marketplace owned by PB Fintech, has widened its instant personal loan programme to 18 lending partners, including six banks. Eligible borrowers can get loans of up to ₹7 lakh, with disbursal in one to two hours after a fully digital application, the company said on 4 November 2026.

The move adds scale to a lending business that has been growing faster than the rest of the group. In the PB Fintech Q2 FY27 results, Paisabazaar’s core disbursals rose 22% year on year, led by 30% growth in unsecured loans.

Which lenders are on Paisabazaar’s instant personal loan programme

The 18 partners are a mix of banks, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) and fintech lenders. Paisabazaar named ten of them:

  • Banks: HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, YES BANK, IDFC FIRST Bank, Federal Bank and IndusInd Bank.
  • NBFCs: L&T Finance, Poonawalla Fincorp, Tata Capital and Hero FinCorp.

Across all its credit products, including business loans, home loans and credit cards, Paisabazaar says it works with more than 70 lending partners. The partnership with YES BANK goes back to the platform’s early years, when the bank first partnered with Paisabazaar.com in 2017.

How the two-hour disbursal works

The company describes a four-step journey on its personal loan platform:

AdvertisementInfoComm India 2026
  • The borrower enters personal and income details.
  • The platform shows the loan offers the borrower is eligible for.
  • The borrower completes video KYC (know your customer) verification.
  • The chosen lender approves and disburses the loan.

Disbursal within one to two hours depends on the lender’s approval and on the borrower completing the required formalities, Paisabazaar said. Its SmartMatch technology ranks offers by the borrower’s eligibility to raise the chance that an application ends in a disbursal.

“Today’s borrowers expect access to credit to be as seamless and quick as other digital services,” said Santosh Agarwal, CEO, Paisabazaar. “We will continue to invest in technology and partnerships to make access to responsible credit simpler and more efficient.”

Why it matters for digital lending in India

Marketplaces such as Paisabazaar sit between borrowers and regulated lenders: the bank or NBFC underwrites and holds the loan, while the platform finds and onboards the customer. Adding more lenders gives borrowers more offers to compare and lets lenders reach customers without building their own acquisition funnels, a model that is spreading across India’s digital lending market.

Speed also raises the stakes on borrower discipline. Before applying, borrowers should compare the full cost of a loan, not just the headline rate; the annual percentage rate (APR) of a personal loan includes processing fees and other charges.

  • Eligible borrowers can get up to ₹7 lakh, with disbursal in one to two hours after video KYC.
