Airtel customers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana can now avail the facility of cashless payments at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) fuel stations, thanks to the partnership between both the brands.
This facility can be availed through smartphones(My Airtel App) and feature phones as well. The user will not be charged with any additional cost for this transaction.
Airtel made this announcement during the inauguration of an HPCL fuel station.
The telecom giant has offered a variety of convenient banking services for its customers available at these fuel stations.
Customers can open new accounts, make cash deposits, withdraw money and even transfer money at these fuel stations.
“This will add to the depth and reach of Airtel Payments Bank’s retail-based network that leverages over 40,000 Airtel retail outlets as banking points in the state,” said Airtel.
