SBI Mutual Fund has appointed Anuradha Rao as its Managing Director and Chief Executive.
“Rao has been appointed as the new MD and CEO of SBI Funds Management Pvt Ltd effective August 25, 2016,” the SBI MF said in a statement.
Prior to the latest appointment, Rao was handling New Business Portfolio as deputy managing director at the State Bank of India (SBI).
Having also worked as the chief general manager of personal banking at the SBI, some of her key assignments included developing the home loans and real estate businesses at the bank.
She has replaced Dinesh Kumar Khara, who has been appointed Managing Director of State Bank of India (Associate & Subsidiaries).
Rao has spent over three decades in banking and allied sectors.
