Bank of India, a renowned public sector bank, has appointed Shri Subrat Kumar as its Executive Director.
On November 21, 2022, Shri Kumar, a trained banker with a B.Sc., MBA, and CAIIB, took over as CEO. He has worked in commercial banks and asset management firms for over 27 years.
He gained extensive experience in all aspects of operational and strategic banking during his long career in the banking industry, with a focus on Treasury & Investment Banking, Risk Management, Credit Monitoring, and Corporate Banking.

In his duties as Regional Head, Patna, Head of Treasury Management, Audit & Inspection, Credit Monitoring, and Corporate Credit, he was successful. He was also the bank’s Chief Risk Officer (eVB) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) (CFO).
He was also a director of the Fixed Income Money Market and Derivatives Association of India (FIMMDA) and BoB Capital Markets Ltd.
