Aiming at accelerating growth and innovation around the insurance industry, Bharti AXA Life Insurance named Rikhil K. Shah as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will be in charge of guiding the Company’s financial operations, assessing and managing financial risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining Bharti AXA Life Insurance, Rikhil worked for SBI General Insurance, where he rose through the ranks from Vice President – Finance to Chief Financial Officer.
During his time at SBI General Insurance, Rikhil witnessed the company’s book increase from Rs.2,000 crore to about Rs.11,000 crore, with overall employee strength increasing from 300 to over 7000. Rikhil, a seasoned CA specialist with two decades of experience, has also worked for firms such as HDFC Ergo Insurance, Phillips Carbon Black, and Oxford Laboratories. In addition to his job as CFO, he has managed transformation initiatives in larger organisations while also overseeing analytics, HR, investment operations, and procurement.
