Cognizant has increased its strength in the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) with the highest incremental revenues in the verticle
The firm overtook TCS in this metric. Cognizant added $537 million to its BFSI revenues in 2014, compared to the year before. TCS added $523 million.
BFSI is one of the biggest spenders on IT. Cognizant reportedly earn 42% of its revenues from the segment, TCS 41%, Infosys 33%, Wipro 27% and Accenture 22%.
