Elastic, the company that created Elasticsearch, named Karthik Rajaram as area vice president and general manager for its operations in India. Karthik will be in charge of Elastic’s business strategy and growth in India, driving customer happiness and strengthening regional alliances.
Karthik joins Elastic with two decades of technology leadership and enterprise sales expertise, most recently serving as Freshworks’ area vice president and country head in India. His extensive knowledge of the market and client needs, garnered via sales positions at Akamai, Salesforce, and Microsoft, will be critical in achieving Elastic’s vision of enabling everyone to get answers that matter in real-time and at scale.
