Elastic, the company behind Elasticsearch, announced the immediate appointment of Mark Dodds as their new Chief Revenue Officer. Dodds will report to Elastic’s CEO Ash Kulkarni and will be in charge of driving all parts of the company’s revenue development, building on the company’s continuous success as the leading search analytics platform.
Dodds brings to the post 23 years of global sales leadership experience at Cisco, most recently as senior vice president of Global Services & Software Sales, where he helped accelerate Cisco’s move to recurring revenue. He will be in charge of Elastic’s global go-to-market duties, which will include global sales, customer success, solution architecture, ecosystem and alliances, and sales operations.
