appFederal Bank has launched India’s first mobile App for opening bank account, the Bank said in an official release.

The new app, which was launched in Mumbai and Kochi, is an upgrade to FedBookits e-Passbook app.

To open an account, one has to just download FedBook in mobile and follow 3 easy steps – taking a selfie; scanning Aadhaar and PAN Card. Once the account is opened, the app turns into the digital passbook for the customer.

We are sure that the upgraded Fedbook will take us towards the larger digital audience and change the way Indians open a Bank account.”
