HDFC rolls out pre-paid medical card with Apollo Hospitals

hdfcHDFC Bank has launched co-branded medical benefits card with Apollo Hospitals.

“The  card will save costs and eliminate administrative issues while disbursing medical allowances,” said Parag Rao, Senior Executive Vice-President, HDFC.

The  re-paid medical card allows corporates to disburse medical allowances to their employees and has insurance cover for accidents. Corporates can avail the specified allowance each month through the card, which can be used by employees for medical expenditure Visa/MasterCard outlets.

The card provides a free accidental death insurance of Rs 3 lakh and accident hospitalisation insurance of Rs 30,000. Moreover, users can avail  discounts at Apollo network including Apollo Hospitals, Apollo Pharmacies, Apollo Clinics and Apollo White Dental.
