Vivek Zakarde, a renowned figure in data analytics, has been named as the Head of Data Operations at IndiaFirst Life. Before joining IndiaFirst Life, Zakarde was Chief Data & Analytics Officer at IDBI Bank, where he led initiatives in Data Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain, and Customer Experience (CX). His career spans prominent roles at IndusInd Bank, India Infoline Group, Reliance General Insurance, EXL Services, and WNS.
In his new role, Zakarde will oversee data management, data science, AI/ML, and business intelligence initiatives and contribute to IndiaFirst Life’s digitization and AI adoption strategies. He brings with him a wealth of global experience, having collaborated with major enterprises like British Gas (UK), Ford Motors (US), and Suncorp Bank (Australia).
Zakarde expressed his enthusiasm for the role, stating, “My passion lies in building and leading high-performance teams that leverage data to drive transformative improvements across products, services, and business processes. At IndiaFirst Life, I aim to elevate data analytics to the forefront of our operations, fostering the organization’s transition towards digitization and AI adoption.
