Karnataka Bank signs MOU with Tirth Agro Tech

Karnataka Bank Ltd entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the leading Agricultural Equipment / implements manufacturer M/s Tirth Agro Technology Pvt Ltd, Rajkot at Mangaluru, for financing to farmers for Agri Mechanisation.

P Jayarama Bhat, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank stated that the MoU aims to work together to promote agriculture mechanization in India by utilizing the immense experience the Bank has in Agricultural finance through its vast network of Branches across India and the expertise of the Company in the field of manufacturing of high quality Agriculture Equipments and implements.

The MOU aims to establish a platform to form a relation on co operation between the two in identifying farmers buying the Agricultural implements & equipments and financing them by the Bank on its terms. This will lead to further enhancement of Agricultural finance to the farmers, particularly Small and Marginal farmers.

Tirth Agro Technology Pvt. Ltd. is a leading Indian agricultural implements manufacturer with a history of two decades. Started in 1997, at Rajkot, the company manufactures agricultural implements under the brand name “SHAKTIMAN”. Company has dealership network of more than 685 dealers and 42 distributors across the country.
