Joining the race for banks on being mobile-friendly and up-to-date, Lakshmi Vilas Bank launched its mobile banking app called LVB Mobile for its customers, an official said.
The app, which is Android, Windows, IOS compatible, would allow customers to check their balance, transfer funds, recharge their mobile and pay their bills, said P Mukherjee, the new managing director and CEO of Lakshmi Vilas Bank.
The smartphone-based app also has enhanced features like handling requests for stopping payment, blocking debit cards, requesting a cheque book or mini statement and helps locate the nearest Lakshmi Vilas Bank branch or ATM, added Mukherjee.
