Melento Partners with Gnani AI to Bring Voice AI Agents to Global Enterprise Customers

Melento

Bengaluru-based enterprise agentic AI company Melento, formerly known as SignDesk, has announced a collaboration with frontier AI company Gnani AI to explore the deployment of voice-enabled AI agents for enterprise customers across global markets.

The collaboration will combine Gnani AI’s Voice AI capabilities with Melento’s agentic AI orchestration framework to enable AI agents that can listen to customers, understand context, make decisions and take action across enterprise workflows.

The companies are focusing on moving beyond conventional conversational AI systems that primarily answer queries. The collaboration aims to explore agentic voice experiences, where voice becomes an interface through which AI agents can execute tasks and drive outcomes within existing enterprise processes. This could enable enterprises to move from scripted IVR systems towards AI call agents capable of completing tasks rather than simply responding to customers.

According to Melento, the integration of voice with agentic AI could help enterprises reduce manual effort and operational costs, shorten process cycles and strengthen compliance and auditability. The approach is particularly relevant for regulated sectors where customer interactions often involve sensitive information and complex workflows.

“Voice is one of the most natural interfaces for human interaction, but enterprise voice automation requires much more than simply converting speech to text and generating a response,” said Krupesh Bhat, Founder & CEO, Melento. He added that the collaboration aims to explore the potential of combining frontier voice intelligence with enterprise-grade agentic AI orchestration to enable AI agents that can understand context, reason and securely execute tasks.

Gnani AI brings proprietary speech and language technologies spanning Speech-to-Text (STT), text-to-speech, speech-to-speech and language models. The company’s technology is deployed across more than 200 enterprises globally and processes over 30 million voice interactions daily, according to the companies.

Ganesh Gopalan, CEO and Co-founder, Gnani AI, said the collaboration will explore how voice intelligence can work with Melento’s orchestration capabilities to automate voice-led enterprise workflows at scale, including interactions involving multiple languages, accents and sensitive customer conversations.

The companies will explore applications across customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX). Potential use cases include voice-led onboarding and KYC with e-sign and e-stamp for BFSI and insurance, agentic onboarding, banking journeys, contract negotiations and renewals, compliant collections, employee onboarding, policy acknowledgements and voice-triggered approvals for procurement, HR and expense processes.

The collaboration is also expected to examine the use of real-time intent and sentiment detection, positioning the Voice User Interface (VUI) as an enterprise interface rather than simply a front-end conversation layer.

The initiative is particularly relevant to BFSI, insurance, pharma and legal enterprises, where multilingual interactions, authentication, compliance and workflow complexity are key considerations. Melento said the collaboration forms part of its broader effort to help enterprises adopt agentic AI within existing business processes and systems while maintaining governance, security and operational control.
