Prior to that, he held the position of Chief Risk Officer at Chaitanya India Fin Credit Pvt Ltd and NSDL Payments Bank, where he was instrumental in enhancing enterprise risk, compliance, and cybersecurity frameworks. Notably, he successfully led efforts to close a full-scope audit by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) with zero observations, underscoring his expertise in regulatory compliance and risk governance.

With extensive experience across banking and fintech, Pathan brings deep domain knowledge in managing complex risk environments, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring regulatory adherence. His appointment comes at a time when fintech companies are increasingly prioritising robust risk management frameworks amid evolving regulatory expectations and rapid digital adoption.
