MOS Utility Appoints Atish Shelar as Group CEO to Drive Next Phase of Growth

Mumbai, August 14, 2026: MOS Utility, an Indian B2B2C digital fintech and ecommerce company, has appointed Atish Shelar as Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company’s next phase of growth and strengthen its expanding digital financial services ecosystem.

Shelar brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across banking, fintech, digital payments, merchant acquiring, product strategy, and business development. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening MOS Utility’s business ecosystem, scaling its digital financial services portfolio, and driving synergies across its group businesses, including JC Ventures, Indicore, and Samvriddhi.

A seasoned payments industry professional, Shelar has held leadership positions across banking and financial services organisations, including HDFC Bank, Deutsche Bank, BillDesk, Unimoni, and M2P Fintech. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at IppoPay and Fin Meadows, where he played a key role in developing the company’s merchant acquiring business and payment infrastructure.

Commenting on his appointment, Atish Shelar, Group CEO, MOS Utility, said that he was excited to join the company at an important stage of its journey. He highlighted MOS Utility’s expanding portfolio of businesses and the opportunity to build a more integrated digital financial services ecosystem while accelerating innovation and creating greater value for customers, partners, and stakeholders.

Throughout his career, Shelar has led business development, product management, strategic alliances, sales, marketing, technology, and operations across the payments ecosystem. His expertise covers merchant acquiring, UPI, card payments, payment gateways, banking partnerships, digital commerce, and payment infrastructure.

Shelar has also been recognised among the “Top 10 Best COOs in India” and the “Top 50 Most Influential Payment Professionals.” His appointment is expected to further strengthen MOS Utility’s leadership as the company expands its presence across digital financial services and commerce.
