Vodafone has introduced a new Vodafone wallet for contactless terminals. This wallet would be connected to the bank cards and help users in payments for goods and services.
Vodafone’s new services of bank card payments via Vodafone Wallet will roll out in the European markets from the second quarter of 2015. This service requires a Vodafone NFC SIM and will be supported on a range of Android Smartphone.
Mark Ritzmann, Head, mCommerce, Vodafone, said that, “Customers will now be able to add payment cards to their Vodafone Wallet easily and using theur smartphones, they can pay for goods and services.”
“After we made agreements with Visa and Carta Worldwide, Vodafone Wallet is has become very fast, secure and simple,” he added.
