Nutanix, Microsoft Azure team-up for Seamless Hybrid Experience

Nutanix, enterprise cloud computing giant, has joined hands with Microsoft that will help both the firms in offering a hybrid solution with seamless application, data, and license mobility as well as integrated management across on-premises and Azure environments, making use of Nutanix Clusters on Azure.

The official statement by Nutainix states that keeping the criticality of the nature of work the firm deals with, need for a reliable, scalable and flexible IT infrastructure is a necessity, making a truly unified hybrid cloud solution ideal. Nutanix’s partnership with Microsoft on bridging the private and public clouds with Nutanix Clusters on Azure would help both the companies in leveraging the benefits of hybrid cloud while simplifying the daily operations.

Commenting on the alliance, Tarkan Maner, Chief Commercial Officer at Nutanix said, “With this partnership, Microsoft and Nutanix show our commitment to delivering a true, unified hybrid and multicloud environment.”

This strategic alliance will help both the companies in putting their focus on extending Nutanix hybrid cloud infrastructure to Azure. The partnership will be involving the development of Nutanix-ready nodes on Azure for supporting Nutanix Clusters and services.
