Ordering food on Swiggy? Now pay your bills via “Amazon Pay Wallet”

Amazon-payOnline food ordering app Swiggy has now teamed up with Amazon India for enabling e-payment of food bills via “Amazon Pay wallet”.

This joint venture will help the users in ordering food via Swiggy and availing the executing benefits such as weekend deals, and cash back deals offered by on Amazon Pay.

According to the company’s official communiqué, this partnership will enable fast and seamless checkouts for Swiggy users.

Leveraging this partnership, Amazon India is expecting to level-up the usage of digital payments across the country. The company claims to have announced a number of partnerships for boosting the level of digital payments and these have helped the brand in achieving significant increase in booking pertaining to food, travel, and ticket on weekends.

“We’re constantly looking for ways to make the consumer experience on Swiggy right from dish selection to order placement and check out more hassle-free and convenient.” He went on to add, “Through this partnership with Amazon Pay, we’re extending this objective by enabling a fast, seamless and reliable payment option for our users,” said Srivats TS, the Vice President of Marketing at Swiggy.

We understand our customers’ needs and continuously seek to enhance their payment experience across platforms they frequently use.” He also stated, “We are happy to partner with Swiggy to extend the trusted and convenient Amazon Pay experience for customers on their preferred online food delivery platform,” said Manesh Mahatme, Director of Acceptance and Merchant Payments at Amazon India.

Users opting to pay via Amazon Pay can also avail 40 percent discount with up to Rs 120 in amount at Swiggy.
