Persistent Systems has elevated Jaideep Dhok as Chief Operating Officer – Technology, effective August 12, 2025. Dhanashree Bhat, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, will step down from her role effective August 11, 2025, to pursue external career opportunities, with Persistent expressing gratitude for her invaluable contributions to strengthening operational efficiency and fostering a people-centric culture.
Jaideep Dhok brings more than 23 years of experience across horizontal technologies and the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector, including over 14 years at Persistent. During his tenure, he has successfully driven major transformation programs, launched new business lines, and significantly expanded the BFSI segment. As head of the APAC region, he has also played a crucial role in shaping the company’s AI strategy. In his new position, he will take on greater responsibilities, including Delivery Excellence, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, Learning and Development, as well as overseeing strategic Alliances and Partnerships.
Sandeep Kalra, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Persistent Systems, praised Jaideep’s robust technology expertise, strong execution focus, and deep understanding of the company’s operations, noting that his leadership will be instrumental as Persistent advances its AI-led, platform-driven strategy. He also extended appreciation to Dhanashree for her dedication and impactful tenure.

As part of this leadership transition, Vinit Teredesai, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director, will assume additional oversight of IT and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) alongside his responsibilities covering Corporate Finance, Treasury, Financial Reporting, Taxation, Enterprise Risk Management, and Investor Relations.
