Rajesh Dahiya resigns as Executive Director (corporate centre) Axis Bank

Rajesh Dahiya, Executive Director (corporate centre) of Axis Bank has resigned from his position. This development will come into effect from January 1, said the bank in an exchange notification.

Dahiya became a part of the bank in June 2010, after completing more two decades across various group companies of the Tata Group.

Rajesh Dahiya, executive director (corporate centre) opted for an early retirement to pursue personal and professional interests.

In the board meeting held on 29 September 2021, the members accepted Dahiya’s decision to opt for an early retirement from the services of the bank. The said retirement will be effective after expiry of three months viz. after the close of business hours on 31 December 2021.

He had joined Tata Group as president – HR and assumed the role of group executive – corporate centre in July 2014 and thereafter assumed charge as the executive director – corporate centre in August 2016.

Dahiya is also a director on the boards of Axis Trustee Services and Max Life Insurance Company.
