Raul Rebello appointed MD & CEO of Mahindra Finance

In a significant move, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited (MMFSL) has appointed Raul Rebello as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective April 29, 2024. Rebello, aged 45, steps into this role succeeding Ramesh Iyer, who is set to retire.

Having joined MMFSL on September 1, 2021, as the Chief Operating Officer, Rebello has demonstrated exceptional leadership, spearheading the company’s growth and transformation initiatives over the past 17 months. His tenure at MMFSL witnessed remarkable strides in various aspects of the business, as stated in an official release.

Before his tenure at MMFSL, Rebello served at Axis Bank, where he held the position of Executive Vice President and Head of Rural Lending and Financial Inclusion. With a rich background in rural banking, spanning both assets and liabilities, Rebello brings a wealth of experience to his new role. His career trajectory showcases a consistent ability to drive growth in large enterprises and nurture innovative ideas, the statement further elaborated.
