SBI General Insurance, one of India’s largest general insurers, has named Nainoor Desai as Business Head – Corporate. This appointment is consistent with the company’s strategy of development and sustained growth. Mr. Desai’s new role will include overseeing and driving the corporate business, which serves over 5000 corporate clients.
Desai has over two decades of financial and insurance services expertise. He has previously held senior positions at prestigious companies, including Liberty General, Reliance General, and ICICI Lombard. Desai has a PGDBM degree in Marketing and Rural Business from Birla Institute of Management Technology. He has also received specialised training and holds various certificates, including ‘Certified Internal Auditor for ISO’ and a training module in ‘Strategic Business Leadership’ from ISB Hyderabad.
Desai will succeed Ms. Meena Subramanian, who will retire this year after a distinguished career with SBI General Insurance spanning more than a decade.
