Standard Chartered Bank has appointed Aditya Mandloi as the new head of Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) for India and South Asia, effective from August.
Mandloi will oversee the WRB operations in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. The bank expressed confidence in Mandloi’s leadership, citing his extensive experience and deep understanding of the South Asia markets as key assets for the growth of its business.
“With his immense experience and deep understanding of the South Asia markets, the Bank looks forward to the growth of its business under his leadership,” Standard Chartered said in a statement.
Mandloi has had a distinguished 27-year career with Standard Chartered, starting as an international graduate in 1997. Over the years, he has held various roles in product management, collections, and sales. He previously led the WRB business for Bangladesh and served as the head of SME Banking in India, where he successfully built a sustainable and profitable business.

Most recently, Mandloi was the head of Business Banking India & Global Head Business Banking – Sales and Marketing from 2022 to 2024.
