UCO Bank Appoints Manohar Lal Paliwal as Part-Time Non-Official Director

Kolkata, August 13, 2026: UCO Bank has appointed Chartered Accountant Shri Manohar Lal Paliwal as a Part-Time Non-Official Director on its Board for a tenure of three years, following a nomination by the Central Government.

The bank informed the stock exchanges about the appointment, which took effect from August 12, 2026. The appointment has been made pursuant to a Central Government notification dated August 12, 2026, nominating Paliwal to the position for a period of three years from the date of the notification or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

With this appointment, Paliwal will serve as a Part-Time Non-Official Director on the Board of UCO Bank. His induction comes as part of the bank’s board-level governance framework and follows the government’s nomination of a non-official director.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Paliwal brings professional expertise to the bank’s Board. As a non-official director, his role will involve contributing to the Board’s deliberations and providing independent perspectives on matters concerning the bank’s operations, governance and strategic direction.

The appointment is effective from August 12, 2026, and will continue for three years unless the Central Government issues further orders regarding his tenure.
