YES BANK names Manish Jain as Country Head of Wholesale Banking, after Ravi Thoda, Country Head- Large Corporates resigns from his post.
Jain will be in charge of YES BANK’s Wholesale Banking business, which includes Investment Banking, Project Finance Business & Loan Syndication, Emerging Local Corporates, Transaction Banking Group, and Institutional & Government Banking (Government Banking, Multinational Corporate Banking, IFSC Banking Unit, Indian Financial Institutions Banking, and Corporate & Government Advisory) and Corporate & Government Advisory. Mr. Jain will be based in Mumbai at YES BANK House and will report to Mr. Prashant Kumar, YES BANK’s Managing Director and CEO.
Jain is an accomplished banking professional with more than three decades of experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry. He has worked in several geographical locations across India, serving a wide range of client segments such as Large Local Corporates, Strategic Groups, Middle Market Companies, Corporate Commercial & Institutional Banking (CCIB), Supply Chain Finance, Transaction Banking sales, Multinational Corporates, Financial Institutions, and SMEs.
Jain comes to YES BANK from Standard Chartered Bank, where he was Managing Director and Co-Head, CCIB Client Coverage, India & Corporates, South Asia. He has previously worked for companies such as Ernst & Young Consulting India, GE India, and Maruti Suzuki.
