Zeron, a Cyber risk posture management firm, has raised $500,000 in a seed round from Yatra Angel Network and Varanium Capital, a fintech-focused fund.
The money will be put to use, says Zeron, for projects related to research and development as well as growing its presence internationally.
Earlier this year, the startup raised funding from early-stage investors 100X.VC along with angel investors like Anoop Mathur (AM Capital), and K.R.S. Jamwal (Tata Industries).
Sanket Sarkar founded Zeron, which provides solutions for businesses looking to secure their online presence. It effectively combats the cybersecurity challenges by ensuring clients make informed decisions using artificial intelligence (AI).
Its client portfolio includes Affin Bank, NTUC, Aditya Birla Capital, and Bank Open among others. Currently, it has a presence across countries like Indonesia, Canada, Singapore, the UK, the Philippines.
Lead Investor Varanium NexGen makes investments in early-stage fintech startups. FinTechs like EaseBuzz, Riskcovry, GetVantage, Homeville, DataSutram, and FinVu were previously investments made by the company.
