About the recruitment
NaBFID has been established under an Act of Parliament as the principal institution for infrastructure financing in India and is regulated and supervised as an All-India Financial Institution by the Reserve Bank of India. It is now inviting applications for one post of Executive Vice President and Head – Market Risk, ALM and Enterprise Risk on a fixed-term contractual basis.
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an enterprise-wide risk framework, ensuring the Bank's portfolio is built within defined risk parameters, building mechanisms to measure risk, and advising on risk mitigation across business operations.
Eligibility
Applicants must be Indian citizens aged 55 years or below as on 3 November 2026. The minimum educational qualification is a graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institution, or a Chartered Accountancy qualification. Certifications such as the Financial Risk Management credential from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) or the Professional Risk Management certification from PRIMA Institute are preferred.
Candidates must have at least 20 years of experience in the financial sector. Of these, 5 years must be in a risk management function at an entity regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, and at least 2 of those 5 years must be at the senior management level. Experience in the infrastructure domain will be an added advantage.
Government, quasi-government, PSU, nationalised bank or financial institution employees must submit a No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of interview to be considered. Candidates must also be prepared to disclose details of any pending criminal cases at the interview stage and to provide proper relieving letters from their current employer upon selection.
Selection process
Applications will first be screened and shortlisted on the basis of eligibility and relevant experience. Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call for interview. Shortlisted candidates may additionally be required to undergo psychometric tests, an assessment centre or any other selection method deemed appropriate by NaBFID, before appearing for a personal interview conducted by a committee constituted for this purpose.
Final selection will be based on eligibility, experience, qualification and performance in the personal interview. The decision of NaBFID's Selection Committee is final. Interview call letters will be sent by email or uploaded to the Bank's website; no hard copies will be dispatched. Candidates appearing for the interview will be reimbursed economy class airfare expenses.
How to apply
Applications are accepted only by email; hard copies will not be accepted. Candidates should prepare their CV along with a passport-sized photograph and send it by email. Candidates must maintain a valid and active email ID throughout the recruitment process, as all communications including interview call letters will be sent electronically.
