Airtel Payments Bank names Anuj Bansal as CFO

Airtel Payments Bank has named Anuj Bansal as its Chief Financial Officer(CFO). Anuj will be in charge of the overall financial strategy, which includes corporate financial planning, budgeting, supply chain, and treasury management. He will be a member of the Bank’s Executive Committee and will collaborate closely with Anubrata Biswas, MD and CEO of Airtel Payment Bank.

Anuj has over 23 years of expertise in financial services and various industries, including the automotive. His expertise includes business planning, investor relations, strategy development, worldwide financial operations, finance and accounting management, and treasury management.

Before joining Airtel Payments Bank, Anuj, a Chartered Accountant and alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, was Vice President – Financial Planning & Analysis at MasterCard India, where he led the Business Finance Centre to support the organization’s global FP&A operations. Prior to this, he worked for Max New York Life Insurance (now Max Life), Aviva Life Insurance Co. India Ltd., Royal Enfield (a unit of Eicher Motors), and others.
