Bank of India unveils Nari Shakti Savings Account with enhanced benefits

Nari Shakti Savings Account

Bank of India, a leading Public Sector Bank in India, launched their new Nari Shakti Savings Account in the presence of the Board of Directors and MD & CEO, Shri Rajneesh Karnataka, at the Head Office in Mumbai. This special Savings Bank account is designed for women aged 18 and over who have an independent source of income.

The Savings Account comes with enhanced benefits and features such as Personal Accident Insurance coverage of up to Rs. 100 lakhs, discounted Health Insurance & Wellness products, attractive rebates on locker facilities for Gold & Diamond SB A/C holders, and free facilities for Platinum SB A/C holders. It also provides a lower interest rate on Retail Loans, a remission of processing fees on Retail Loans, free credit card issuance, and a larger usage limit of up to Rs. 5.00 lakh on POS.

The Nari Shakti Savings Account is envisioned as a financial savings instrument to provide working women with an independent source of income, allowing them to become self-sufficient and enjoy more financial independence. For each new Nari Shakti Account opened, the bank will contribute Rs. 10/- to the CSR fund, which will be used to support the socioeconomic development of impoverished women and girls.

The Nari Shakti Savings Account can be opened at any of the 5132 domestic branches or online.
