Navi Mutual Fund Launches Investor Awareness Campaign to Simplify Index Investing

Navi Mutual Fund

Navi Mutual Fund has launched a new investor awareness campaign focused on index fund investing, using humour and relatable everyday situations to make conversations around investing simpler and more accessible for young Indians.

With investing becoming increasingly mainstream, financial discussions are extending beyond traditional expert circles. Navi Mutual Fund’s latest campaign aims to demystify index funds by placing investment conversations in familiar social settings and showing how financial concepts can become part of everyday interactions.

The campaign features two digital films, “The Akhada Film” and “The Date Film.” The Akhada Film follows a traditional wrestler performing malkhamb, who surprises his guru by describing his future aspirations using index fund terminology instead of conventional wrestling ambitions. The humorous contrast highlights the growing familiarity of young Indians with investment concepts.

The Date Film features a young couple meeting at a restaurant for their first date. When the conversation turns to hobbies and interests, the young man unexpectedly responds using the language of index funds, transforming an ordinary interaction into a humorous portrayal of how investing has entered mainstream conversations.

Aditya Mulki, CEO of Navi AMC, said the campaign aims to make investing conversations feel more natural and approachable while encouraging curiosity and learning about long-term wealth creation.

Vishal Dayama, Founder of Braindad, said the campaign took an unconventional approach by building stories around characters who are humorously passionate about index funds, making the financial concepts entertaining without relying on conventional explanations.
