Marching ahead in the e-payments domain, Paytm Payments Bank (PBB) has collaborated with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) for the launch of a RuPay enabled digital debit card.
This new digital debit card will help the customers to perform transactions with all the merchants who permit credit and debit cards payments
The bank will issue RuPay powered digital debit cards to all its customers who have opened their bank accounts with PPB
The RuPay enabled digital debit card launched by PPB will be provided to all the customers who have opened their bank accounts with Paytm Payments Bank.
Further, this debit card is also loaded with a feature of free insurance cover of up to Rs 2 lakh and covers death or permanent total disability.
“Our customers will now be able to pay across all online platforms with our digital debit card and experience the same convenience that they have been accustomed to across the Paytm ecosystem,” Renu Satti, Managing Director, PPB.
As leading firms like Ola, Flipkart and Amazon have restricted the users to make payments via Paytm wallets currently, this news digital debit card will help in making transactions on the restricted platforms as well.
