Digital payment firm PhonePe has launched micro-apps for OYO, AbhiBus and Myntra. This launch is a part of Flipkart-owned e-payment brand’s micro-app strategy, which enables its users to avail services from various Internet firms within the app.
The service will enable PhonePe users to avail services from the above-mentioned Internet firms within the PhonePe app.
Responding to this, OYO said that users will get the facility to book over 125,000 exclusive rooms through the app, by paying a preliminary token amount of Rs 99 and paying the clearing remaining part later at the hotel.
The micro-app feature by PhonePe is also available for companies like redBus, Goibibo, Ola, Delhi Metro, and Mumbai Metro.
“This partnership with PhonePe will help us reach new customers while enhancing the experience of our existing user base,” said Burhanuddin Pithawala, VP – Conversions, OYO Hotels.
PhonePe recently entered into a partnership with Mumbai Metro One for boosting the adoption of Unified Payments Interface (UPI) as a payment mode for smartcard recharges among metro commuters
