For most of us, microblogging sites are an inevitable part of living. Be it the rejoice of a success, angst over an injustice or just the freedom of expression, with smartphones, writing your best is the most preferred option followed by the majority, lately.
Making a major announcement in this regard, leading microblogging site Twitter now offers #280characters to all its users .
For users in India, this upgradation will be applicable to the six regional languages supported on the platform – Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi and Tamil.
Before updating the word limit, in September Twitter started running a test that was only available to the limited users.
